Responsibilities
- Understands the client industry niche(s) served, recognizes typical business problems, and how our service platform provides solutions.
- Maintains proactive awareness of industry trends and their impact on clients.
- Represents MMA Midwest in client and insurance industry through writing, speaking, and networking engagements.
- Advocates for changes and additions to our service platform that enhance client value and support strategic direction.
- Builds and cultivates relationships with clients, negotiating effectively and maintaining trust.
- Uses the MMA Midwest sales process to analyze client exposures and opportunities, creating compelling cases for selection.
- Creates and delivers presentations that showcase our unique approach and culture, expertise, and tailored service plans.
- Understands client decision-making processes, key stakeholders, and business goals, and implements a service plan to meet expectations.
- Identifies and pursues opportunities to add new product lines and cross-sell clients into other disciplines.
- Executes client service platforms by analyzing coverage, financials, and claims, recommending improvements, and tracking service plan completion.
- Monitors client satisfaction and collaborates with other teams to execute client plans and services.
- Manages insurance market dynamics, carrier appetites, and programs, overseeing the placement of insurance products.
- Supports the client service team by conducting regular meetings, staying updated on pending issues, and involving team members in decision-making.
- Mentors and develops client service team members and new producers.
- Recruits potential employees and leverages technology to maximize efficiency.
- Conducts business planning to set goals and activities for achieving results.
- Maintains a closing ratio and other efficiencies consistent with team expectations.
Requirements
- Upon hire, a Producers License (Fire/Casualty or Life/Health as appropriate).
- Proven track record for accomplishing specific tasks.
- Prior experience as an Account Executive or client-facing position preferred.
- CPCU, CEBS, ARM or other professional designations preferred.

Pay
The applicable base salary range for this role is $92,400 to $172,100. The base pay offered will be determined based on experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and applicable minimum wage requirements. Performance-based incentives may also be offered.
