Account Executive - Business Insurance

Responsibilities
- Take charge of service execution, build a client base, and utilize sales methodologies and resources to effectively manage and expand your clients.
- Evaluate risks, review loss experience, cash flow and financials, develop solutions, articulate impact of options, leverage prepared analytics, and make recommendations to clients across product lines.
- Establish the growth and retention strategy for a book of business and monitor implementation.
- Cultivate and expand relationships with new and existing clients.
- Provide needed information, creative solutions, and resolution of client issues.
- Prepare submission information as appropriate for the account and coordinate the marketing process.
- Market and negotiate coverage, terms, and premium and foster carrier relationships.
- Display a broad understanding of insurance coverages, their applicability, various exclusions, and basics of program design, premium rating methods, and policy audits.
- Visit clients to discuss renewals and manage account service requirements.
Requirements
- 7+ years previous insurance experience in applicable insurance products/lines.
- Utilizing detailed risk expertise to perform critical client functions.
- Establishing the growth and retention strategy for a book of business and monitoring implementation.
- Cultivating and expanding relationships with new and existing clients.
- Providing needed information, creative solutions, and resolution of client issues.
- Displaying a high level of consistency between words and actions across all business situations.
- Preparing submission information as appropriate for the account and coordinating the marketing process.
- Marketing and negotiating coverage, terms, and premium and fostering carrier relationships.
- Displaying a broad understanding of insurance coverages, their applicability, various exclusions, and basics of program design, premium rating methods, and policy audits.
- Visiting clients to discuss renewals and managing account service requirements.
Qualifications
- Property & Casualty license preferred, or the ability to obtain upon hire.
- BS/BA in Business, Insurance or related field.
- CIC, ARM, CRM, CPCU, CRIS or RPLU or other professional insurance designation related to Property & Casualty.
- Experience working with Applied Epic, agency management system.
- Available to travel to both local and long-distance client meetings as needed.
Skills
These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

Pay
The applicable base salary range for this role is $97,616 to $181,847. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
