Onsite Training Associate

About the role

We are seeking an Onsite Training Associate to join our athena Onsite Training team within our Customer Success division. The role involves becoming an expert in athenaNet products and services, providing support during client implementations, and delivering training and coaching.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate client go-live experiences and serve as a go-to expert for clients regarding athenaNet in-office project support.
  • Conduct mock go-lives, tablespace builds, and partner with Coaching and Training Services for end-user training and best practice teaching.
  • Deliver onsite and virtual training sessions and individualized provider coaching to optimize workflows.
  • Manage contracted training engagements, including content preparation and review.
  • Utilize sound judgement and influencing skills to ensure clients use athenaNet according to best practices and client-specific workflows.
  • Travel frequently to client locations throughout the United States and its territories, including Alaska, Hawaii, and territories.

Requirements

This role requires HIGH levels of travel, typically four or five days per week for up to seven weeks consecutively. Candidates must be comfortable driving and have an active driver’s license, with the ability to drive 5+ hours independently and live within a commutable distance from an international airport.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of direct experience training and assessing training needs; identifying, sourcing, or creating training materials; measuring and delivering results.
  • Working knowledge of the revenue cycle or exposure to EHR/EMR in a sales, services, or implementation capacity for physician practices, hospitals, or health systems.
  • Demonstrated flexibility in prioritizing and completing assigned and unexpected responsibilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.

They should have the professional presence, judgement, and influencing skills needed to guide clients to optimal adoption of and maximum value from athenahealth products and services.

Pay

The base salary range for this role is determined by a variety of factors, including job-related experience, relevant knowledge and skills, and geographical market rates. Base pay is just one part of our competitive Total Rewards package, which includes short and long-term incentives by way of an annual discretionary bonus plan, variable compensation plan, and equity plans.

Schedule

High levels of travel are required, with associates typically deployed to onsite projects four or five days per week, up to seven weeks consecutively. Travel demands fluctuate based on client needs and may require travel on short notice and occasionally on weekends or holidays. There may be periods of high demand and lower demand throughout the course of the year.
