Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Awareness of Banquet Event Order (BEO) and familiarity with the assigned function’s menu.
• Serving guests according to hotel standards in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Performing preparatory tasks and side work duties to ensure prompt and efficient service.
• Setting all tables according to hotel standards.
• Maintaining the banquet storeroom in a neat and orderly manner, stocking with appropriate supplies.
• Cleaning up banquet space after the function and ensuring proper storage and restocking of equipment and supplies.
• Preparing rooms according to BEO and meal functions.
• Following all money handling procedures when serving guests.
• Using suggestive selling techniques and giving accurate descriptions of menu items.
• Ensuring overall guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous events/banquet server experience required.
• Previous bartending experience, including beer, wine, and cocktail service in a banquet, catering, or full-service hotel environment required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Open availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
