About the role
Event servers at Hyatt Regency Reston are responsible for food and drink service at hotel banquet functions. They ensure the function space is visually appealing and present the menu offerings for events. This includes linen and table setting, food station design, and beverage service. Other duties involve general banquet preparation, room refreshes, and maintaining a sanitary environment.
Preferred candidates will have an understanding of state and local serving guidelines. Strong communication skills are essential due to the high level of customer interaction. Previous food and beverage experience and customer service experience are preferred.

Responsibilities
- Provide food and drink service at hotel banquet functions
- Set up and design function spaces, including linens, table settings, and food stations
- Present menu offerings for events
- Perform general banquet preparation and room refreshes
