About the Role

ASRC Federal System Solutions LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, requires a highly motivated On-Call Engineering Technician II to support the ASTROS Contract. We are supporting cutting-edge propulsion systems testing at the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and are looking for the best people to be part of this research.

• Work in a team environment and take instructions from a more senior technician.
• Perform varied assignments throughout the day.
• Receive daily instructions, provide feedback, and complete work with minimal supervision.
• Utilize basic hand tools and power tools to perform assigned tasks.
• Wear assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Work overtime or different shifts with little notice.
• Prioritize safety of self and others in all tasks.
• Demonstrate great customer service skills and communicate job status and deadlines effectively.
• Work to a well-defined schedule and quickly communicate any deviations.
• Work in the Mojave Desert, where outdoor weather can be extremely hot or cold.

Responsibilities

• Apply basic knowledge of building construction and components (HVAC, drywall, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and landscaping).
• Read blueprints (preferred).
• Use basic hand tools proficiently.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in the workforce.
• High School Diploma.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
