About the role

The Engineering Lab Technician will be responsible for performing various analytical tasks in a laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform X-section, delayering, SEM, EDX, X-ray and Optical Inspection, Ion Milling, FIBo analyses.
  • Use basic statistical analysis tools like Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel for data presentation and reporting.
  • Communicate findings verbally and in written reports to engineers, LYA analysts, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse team in a fast-paced, technical environment.
  • Handle tasks in an environment where priorities may change frequently.

Requirements

  • AA degree in a technical discipline (Electronics, Mechanics).
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in a laboratory setting.
  • Experience with analysis techniques including X-section, delayering, SEM, EDX, X-ray and Optical Inspection, Ion Milling, FIBo.
  • Knowledge of basic statistical analysis tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate findings verbally and through reports.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of different individuals.
  • Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous environment with changing priorities.
