Responsibilities
- Work in a team environment and follow instructions from more senior technicians.
- Able to perform various tasks throughout the day.
- Basic knowledge of building construction and components (HVAC, drywall, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and landscaping).
- Experience with mechanical systems.
- Operate a forklift as needed.
- Receive daily instructions and provide feedback on completed work with minimal supervision.
- Wear assigned personal protective equipment.
- Be prepared to work overtime and/or different shifts with little notice.
- Ensure safety of self and others at all times.
- Communicate effectively with customers and understand deadlines.
- Work to a defined schedule and promptly report any deviations.
- Read blueprints if possible.
- Use basic hand tools.
- Work in the Mojave Desert, where weather conditions can be extreme (hot or cold).
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in the workforce.
- High School Diploma.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Qualifications
- Basic mechanical skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of building components.
- Experience with mechanical systems.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
