Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment and follow instructions from more senior technicians.
• Able to perform various tasks throughout the day.
• Basic knowledge of building construction and components (HVAC, drywall, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and landscaping).
• Experience with mechanical systems.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Receive daily instructions and provide feedback on completed work with minimal supervision.
• Wear assigned personal protective equipment.
• Be prepared to work overtime and/or different shifts with little notice.
• Ensure safety of self and others at all times.
• Communicate effectively with customers and understand deadlines.
• Work to a defined schedule and promptly report any deviations.
• Read blueprints if possible.
• Use basic hand tools.
• Work in the Mojave Desert, where weather conditions can be extreme (hot or cold).

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience in the workforce.
• High School Diploma.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Skills

• Basic knowledge of building components.
• Experience with mechanical systems.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
