About the role

Billing Geeks is a New York City medical billing company that has been running the back office for therapy practices across the city for over twenty years. We are a close-knit team of real people who know this industry inside out. We fight for our clients like it is personal and we have a genuinely good time doing it. We take the work very seriously but ourselves only moderately so.

Responsibilities

  • Managing day to day operations
  • Keeping the books in order
  • Supervising and supporting staff
  • Handling HR functions
  • Making sure monthly invoices go out to clients like clockwork
  • Working directly with our CEO

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree
  • Real experience in office management and bookkeeping
  • The ability to keep a lot of plates in the air at once
  • The ability to organize situations more effectively than they were found

Qualifications

  • Someone who doesn’t need the full picture explained before starting to move
