Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary: The purpose of this position is to provide clerical or direct support to the Division of Communications, Fine Arts, and Social Sciences as an Office Assistant floater. The expectation of this position is to communicate with internal and external entities, provide routine clerical support, and monitor the office area cleanliness and maintenance. Other duties may be assigned.
- Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalency. Six (6) months office/clerical related experience.
- Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to communicate effectively (reading, writing, listening, speaking). Ability to work independently and follow-through on assigned task(s). Ability to use a computer in an office setting.
- Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of MS Office and office equipment such as photocopier, scanner etc. Knowledge of Colleague UI 5.

Job Duties
- Greet and assist visitors, students, and others in a courteous and professional manner.
- Work collaboratively and professionally college-wide and within the Division of Communications, Fine Arts, and Social Sciences.
- Data Entry.
- Document, verify, and maintain all department folders to ensure uniformity, accuracy and completeness of information.
