Responsibilities
- Answering and routing incoming phone calls
- Assisting in various administrative tasks such as filing, copying, data entry, scheduling, and reporting
- Aiding in meetings and divisional events – including scheduling, set-up/preparation, and follow-up
- Maintaining and ordering office and/or warehouse supplies
- Cooking and coordinating special events and projects
- Serving as support to various departments and managers as needed
- Assisting the divisional Accounting Manager with special projects and business objectives as needed
- Processing invoices
Qualifications
- A highschool diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience in administrative assistance or customer service
- Familiarity with accounting practices and bookkeeping (preferred)
- Knowledge of basic computer applications, notably Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (required)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Ability to interact professionally at all levels of the business and work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Ability to maintain multiple projects and duties simultaneously
