About the role
This is the ideal position for the person who loves handling a wide variety of responsibilities in a fast paced, high volume environment.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently answer and respond to telephone calls and customers’ needs
- Receive and process customer orders and invoices on a daily basis
- Provide product quotes to customers
- Develop a strong understanding of product line and services offered
- Assist in inventory control, including purchase order receipts and transfers
- Maintain daily receipts and bank statements
- Maintain customer files and pricing
- Aid in production, product pick-up, and product delivery schedules
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year prior office administrative experience or related experience, preferably in the building supply industry
- Clear and effective written and oral communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment
