About the role
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing machinery and company assets, performing preventative maintenance, and ensuring equipment runs efficiently. You will maintain a safe work environment while adhering to Tyson policies and procedures, identify required parts, supplies, and services, and complete work orders promptly to reduce downtime and meet production goals.
The role involves frequent physical activity, including lifting, reaching, rotating, walking, climbing, bending, and squatting throughout the shift. The work environment may be cold, hot, wet, dusty, and noisy.
You must be able to use basic hand and power tools, such as drills, grinders, drill presses, band saws, multimeters, and other equipment.
Requirements
- 3 months of mechanical experience or currently enrolled in or completed an automotive/mechanical degree or training program
