Occupational Therapist (OT) - Sign-on Bonus

About the Role

The Occupational Therapist (OT) provides direct rehabilitation care within skilled nursing and post-acute care settings, focusing on long-term support and short-term rehabilitation for a diverse patient population with orthopedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Assess, modify, and evaluate patient progress
• Supervise and oversee care provided by OT assistants and students
• Chart patient progress accurately and timely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care
• Maintain compliance with all laws, regulations, and facility policies
• Provide excellent patient service and support
• Participate in community health initiatives as appropriate
• Ensure safety, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times

Requirements

• NBCOT certification and state licensure
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT/MSOT)
• CPR certification (obtained upon hire or during orientation)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication skills
• Ability to make independent decisions and demonstrate good body mechanics
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and judgment skills
