Occupational Therapist (OT) - Sign-on Bonus

About the Role

This position involves providing direct occupational therapy rehabilitation care to patients in a skilled nursing environment. The OT will develop and implement treatment plans, assess patient progress, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Follow individualized treatment plans for activities of daily living
• Establish, assess, and modify functional goals
• Supervise and evaluate OT assistants, rehab aides, and students
• Accurately document patient progress and utilize therapy software
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members
• Assist in patient evacuation and maintain safety standards
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to policies
• Deliver occupational therapy services, evaluate and modify treatment plans, and contribute to patient recovery and well-being in a compassionate, patient-centered setting

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (BSOT or MSOT)
• Current state licensure and NBCOT certification (renewal optional)
• CPR certification (must be current)
• Preferred one year of experience; new graduates welcome
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills
• Ability to make independent decisions, demonstrate good body mechanics, and work effectively on a team
