Occupational Therapist (OT) | Pediatrics

About the Role

Responsible for providing occupational therapy services focused on patients' conditions and health diagnoses. Develops and implements individualized treatment plans, evaluates patient progress, and adjusts interventions accordingly. Uses various activities to promote health and achieve therapy goals, ensuring therapy is tailored to patients' physical, emotional, and intellectual capabilities in coordination with medical and nursing teams.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of age-specific factors from infancy to geriatrics.
• Evaluate patients using multiple data sources and develop personalized treatment programs.
• Plan and deliver direct therapy services across different functional settings.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain documentation including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Participate in professional development, educational programs, and departmental program development.

Requirements

• Active occupational therapy license in the practice state.
• Ability to work as per specified hours with adequate visual acuity and communication skills.
• Preferred 1-3 years of clinical patient care experience.
