Position Overview

This occupational therapist role involves coordinating and delivering individualized therapy services to patients across all age groups, from infants to geriatrics. The therapist develops, implements, and evaluates treatment plans based on patient assessments, utilizing appropriate activities to promote health and achieve therapy goals. Responsibilities include documenting evaluations and progress, communicating effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members, and participating in program development and professional growth activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and modify patient-specific treatment programs based on ongoing evaluations.
• Provide direct therapy in various functional settings, considering patients' physical, emotional, and intellectual needs.
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate patient progress effectively.
• Participate in educational activities, workshops, and departmental program development.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active license as an occupational therapist in the state of practice.
• Strong knowledge of age-specific factors and clinical skills.
• Effective communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
