Occupational Therapist - Home Health Care - Wayne County - 20 Hours - Days

About the role

The position will be in the Territory of Wayne County, covering cities such as Dearborn, Dearborn Hgts, Garden City, Inkster, Westland, and Canton. The cities of Southgate, Taylor, Romulus, and Belleville are also secondary coverage areas.

Responsibilities

• Performs OT evaluation and treatment patient care duties as appropriate.
• Communicates effectively with patients, coworkers, physicians, and other system employees regarding patient care needs and documents all aspects of patient care accurately.
• Supervises and delegates to Assistant and tech as appropriate.
• Completes necessary and accurate patient billing information.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Master's Degree preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Michigan Registration and National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one weekend per month, plus one summer holiday and one winter holiday on-call requirements.

Benefits
