Occupational Therapist- Home Health Care - South-East Macomb County - 40 Hours - Days

About the role

The position will be in the Territory of South-East Macomb County, including cities such as Eastpointe, Centerline, Grosse Pointe, Harper Woods, Roseville, St. Clair Shores, and Warren.

Responsibilities

• Perform OT evaluation and treatment patient care duties as appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, physicians, and other system employees regarding patient care needs and document all aspects of patient care accurately.
• Supervise and delegate to Assistant and tech as appropriate.
• Complete necessary and accurate patient billing information.

Requirements

• Minimum of one weekend per month, plus one summer holiday and one winter holiday.
• Compensation & Benefits: $10,000 sign-on bonus; eligible for full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Master's Degree, preferred.
• Current State of Michigan Registration and National board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
