Occupational Therapist - Home Health Care - Northern Oakland County - 40 Hours/Week
Full-time, 40 hours per week, day shift position in Northern Oakland County. $10,000 sign-on bonus and eligibility for full-time benefits.

About the Role
Henry Ford Home Health Care is a comprehensive network of home health products and services focused on the complex needs of patients and caregivers. Programs include chronic care management, joint replacement care, specialty infusion and transplant care, wound, ostomy and continence nursing, and palliative care.
Services are provided by a multidisciplinary team of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, certified wound, ostomy and continence nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, medical social workers, dietitians, and home health aides.
Responsibilities
- Perform occupational therapy evaluations and treatments.
- Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, physicians, and other system employees regarding patient care needs.
- Adequately document all aspects of patient care.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to assistants and technicians as appropriate.
- Complete necessary and accurate patient billing information.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (Master’s Degree preferred).
- Current State of Michigan Registration and National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
