Occupational Therapist- Home Health Care - Northern Macomb County - 40 Hours - Days

About the role

The position will be in the Territory of Northern Macomb County, including cities such as Armada, Ray, Macomb, Richmond, New Haven/Lenox, New Baltimore, Chesterfield, Columbus, Casco, Fair Haven, Ira.

Responsibilities

• Perform OT evaluation and treatment patient care duties as appropriate.
• Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, physicians and other system employees as needed regarding patient care needs and adequately document all aspects of patient care.
• Supervise/delegate to Assistant, and tech as appropriate.
• Complete necessary and accurate patient billing information.

Requirements

• Current State of Michigan Registration and National board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Master's Degree, preferred.

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Pay

• $X per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

• 40 hours per week, day shift.
• On-call requirements: Minimum of one weekend per month, plus one summer holiday and one winter holiday.
