Occupational Therapist - Home Health Care – 40 Hours/Week
General Summary
Under the supervision of the site Team Leader or Supervisor, the Occupational Therapist:
- Performs OT evaluation and treatment patient care duties as appropriate.
- Communicates effectively with patients, coworkers, physicians and other system employees as needed regarding patient care needs and adequately documents all aspects of patient care.
- Supervises/delegates to Assistant, and tech as appropriate.
- Completes necessary and accurate patient billing information.
Educational Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Master's Degree, preferred.
Licenses/Certifications
- Current State of Michigan Registration.
- National board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certification.
Working Conditions
- Patient care setting with potential exposure to communicable disease.
- Limited noise, temperature fluctuation and dust are possible.
Compensation & Benefits
- $10,000 sign-on bonus.
- Eligible for full-time benefits.
