Job Details

Pride Health is hiring an Occupational Therapist to support our client’s Home Health program in West Orange, NJ with coverage across Morris County. This is a 3-month contract assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform occupational therapy evaluations in patients’ homes
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and daily living skills
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, safety practices, and adaptive equipment
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards

Qualifications

  • Current Occupational Therapist licensure
  • Home health/home care experience required
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation

Pay and Schedule

  • Pay rate: $48-$53/hr. (On W2, Negotiable - Pay Rate is based on experience)
  • Schedule: Mon to Fri (5 days/wk.) / 8 am to 4:30 PM
  • On Call/Weekend: As needed

Mileage Reimbursement

Mileage Reimbursement Provided - (from first patient to last patient, excluding travel to and from home)
