Occupational Therapist - Home Health
Job Details
Pride Health is hiring an Occupational Therapist to support our client’s Home Health program in West Orange, NJ with coverage across Morris County. This is a 3-month contract assignment (Possibility of extension or conversion) and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Job Responsibilities
- Perform occupational therapy evaluations in patients’ homes
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and daily living skills
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques, safety practices, and adaptive equipment
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapist licensure
- Home health/home care experience required
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation

Pay and Schedule
- Pay rate: $48-$53/hr. (On W2, Negotiable - Pay Rate is based on experience)
- Schedule: Mon to Fri (5 days/wk.) / 8 am to 4:30 PM
- On Call/Weekend: As needed
Mileage Reimbursement
Mileage Reimbursement Provided - (from first patient to last patient, excluding travel to and from home)
