Occupational Therapist - Full Time, Day Shift

About the role

Occupational Therapist (OT) responsible for developing and implementing treatment programs to restore and enhance patients' physical, social, and mental functions. Serves as a co-leader in interdisciplinary patient care teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations to assess patient needs, utilizing appropriate techniques and tools.
• Develop individualized treatment and discharge plans, ensuring effective communication with relevant parties.
• Provide therapy interventions following established protocols.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation within designated deadlines.
• Supervise assigned therapy assistants.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD).
• Licensure in the practicing state is required.
• CPR or BLS certification from an approved provider.
• Preferred: Two years of occupational therapy experience.

Skills

• Proficient in clinical evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation.
• Strong communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Ability to supervise therapy assistants and perform other related duties.
