About the Role
Provides home-based occupational therapy to help patients regain their physical abilities.
Responsibilities
- Follow state laws and the supervising OT's treatment plan
- Instruct and assist patients with evidence-based therapy within legal scope
- Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes
- Educate patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members on therapy techniques
- Adapt to diverse home environments, treating individuals regardless of background
Requirements
- Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in the state
- Valid driver’s license, insurance, and access to reliable transportation
- CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days (preferred)
