Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in patients' homes following state laws and supervision guidelines.
- Implement treatment plans, instruct and assist patients, families, and caregivers within scope and legal requirements.
- Monitor, document, and report patient responses and condition changes to healthcare team members.
- Adapt to diverse home environments and serve patients of all ages and backgrounds.
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy, adhere to legal and safety standards, document patient progress, and educate patients and caregivers in therapeutic techniques.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the relevant state.
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transit.
- Preferred CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
