About the role
This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining workplace safety programs and ensuring OSHA compliance in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Manage workers' compensation claims
- Coordinate emergency response plans
- Monitor workplace hazards such as dust, noise, and ergonomics
- Administer PPE programs and ensure proper employee training
- Oversee Safety & Sanitation Technicians
- Collaborate with HR and environmental teams to support overall EHS initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing safety
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to conduct investigations and implement corrective actions
- Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing setting
