About the role

This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining workplace safety programs to ensure OSHA compliance and promote a safety-first culture in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments
  • Investigate incidents and lead root cause analysis
  • Manage workers' compensation claims
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness drills
  • Monitor hazards such as dust, noise, and ergonomics
  • Administer PPE programs
  • Provide OSHA-compliant safety training in collaboration with HR
  • Lead safety initiatives and serve as the primary safety resource
  • Collaborate with production and environmental teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and workers' compensation processes
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in environments with dust, noise, and moving equipment
  • Must pass background and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience
