About the Role

The Clinical Assistant Manager advocates for efficient, safe, and compassionate nursing care, supporting shared decision-making and professional autonomy. They assist in managing personnel, budgets, strategic planning, and regulatory standards to ensure effective care delivery within the unit.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Clinical Manager on quality improvement initiatives, staff performance evaluations, and fostering a professional environment.
• Ensure staff competencies, participation in leadership activities, and adherence to ethical standards.
• Oversee operational aspects such as staffing, care models, patient safety, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Participate in performance improvement, data analysis, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage resources cost-effectively while balancing quality and efficiency.
• Assist in developing care initiatives and support professional development.
• Promote a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing School (BSN preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of healthcare standards, performance improvement, and financial management.
• Current RN licensure and BLS certification (mandatory).
• Specialty certification preferred within 6 months of hire.
