Nursing Services Assistant Manager - Full Time - Night Shift

About the Role

The Clinical Assistant Manager advocates for efficient, safe, and compassionate nursing care, assisting with personnel management, budgeting, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance. They collaborate with the Clinical Manager to develop quality improvement initiatives, oversee staff performance and development, ensure staff competencies, and promote a professional and ethical work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leadership activities, staff evaluations, discipline, and fostering staff participation in activities.
• Support safe care delivery, maintain a therapeutic environment, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Participate in performance improvement, data analysis, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Ensure appropriate staffing and resource allocation, coordinate patient care models, and advocate for patients and families.
• Manage unit operations, monitor patient satisfaction, and contribute to quality and safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing standards, performance improvement, healthcare accreditation, and organizational systems.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
• Current RN licensure and BLS certification; specialty certification within 6 months of eligibility.
