About the role

The Clinical Assistant Manager oversees nursing care delivery, resource allocation, and staff management to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff and foster professional growth
• Participate in leadership activities and promote a positive work environment
• Support operational functions like staffing, patient throughput, safety, and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Manage resources thoughtfully to balance quality and cost-effectiveness
• Collaborate with the Clinical Manager on administrative tasks such as performance evaluations, staff development, quality improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Nursing degree (BSN preferred)
• Current RN license
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience
• Leadership or charge experience preferred

Skills

• Knowledge of healthcare systems, performance improvement, and external accreditation standards
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

Certifications

• BLS mandatory
• Specialty certifications should be obtained within six months of eligibility
