Nursing Services Assistant Manager - Full-Time - Night Shift

About the role

The Clinical Assistant Manager plays a vital role in promoting safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care by assisting with personnel management, budget oversight, strategic planning, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical and operational leadership through staff development, performance evaluations, feedback, and discipline.
• Foster staff participation, maintain competencies, and ensure ethical conduct and professionalism.
• Manage staffing hours, implement models of care that optimize resources, and ensure a safe environment for all.
• Participate in performance improvement activities, data analysis, and ensure regulatory standards are met.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care, facilitate throughput, and advocate for patients and families.
• Support finance management by identifying resource needs and balancing cost, quality, and patient needs.
• Engage in professional development, networking, and community activities to promote ongoing growth and current practice standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum two years of clinical nursing experience; leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare systems, performance improvement, and accreditation standards.
• Current RN license, BLS certification, and specialty certification within six months of eligibility.
