Nursing Manager (RN) - Emergency Department

About the Role

This role supports emergency department operations, ensuring high-quality patient care and staff performance within the designated environment and shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care according to policies and protocols.
• Supervise associate performance, coach staff, and manage team responsibilities.
• Oversee departmental budgets, financial reports, and resource allocation.
• Develop staff competencies, facilitate team building, and lead change initiatives.
• Assist with recruitment, HR policies, and associate access to care systems.
• Take on Clinical Lead duties as needed and support operational efficiency.
• Participate in strategic planning and quality improvement efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Business, or related field; actively enrolled candidates considered.
• Minimum 3 years' related experience with at least 1 year supervisory experience; preferred 5 years' experience with 3 years in leadership.
• Current Arizona RN license.
• Knowledge of team building, systems thinking, problem solving, data analysis, and change management.
• Proficient in computer skills.
