Nursing Manager - Emergency Department

About the role

The Manager of Nursing oversees a team of experienced professionals to deliver high-quality nursing services and ensures effective implementation of policies and strategies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and guide a team to provide excellent nursing care.
• Lead the execution of divisional, departmental, or cross-functional initiatives with clear targets and effective communication.
• Develop and implement processes aligned with organizational policies and best practices.
• Recommend and approve opportunities for improved practices to optimize outcomes.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 5 years as a Registered Nurse, including at least 1 year in a clinical specialty recognized by ANCC or similar organizations.
• Valid Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
• Current BLS (CPR) certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
