Nursing Manager - Emergency Department

About the role

The Manager Nursing oversees a team of experienced professionals to deliver high-quality nursing services. They are responsible for implementing policies and strategies to achieve short-term results and lead key divisional, departmental, or cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage and guide a team to ensure excellence in service delivery.
• Lead the execution of initiatives by setting clear targets and ensuring effective communication.
• Develop and implement processes aligned with organizational policies and best practices.
• Evaluate opportunities for practice improvements using knowledge and insights.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of 5 years as a Registered Nurse, with at least 1 year in a clinical specialty recognized by ANCC or similar organizations.

Licensure / Certifications

• Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or a Compact state.
• BLS certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
