Nurse Recruiter

About the role

As a Nurse Recruiter at Henry Ford Health, you will play a key role in building the workforce that delivers exceptional patient care. You will partner with nursing leaders to attract, engage, and hire top nursing talent across the organization, managing the full recruitment lifecycle and developing innovative sourcing strategies. This hybrid opportunity combines remote work with regular in-person collaboration across Henry Ford Health locations throughout Detroit and the surrounding Metro Detroit communities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with nursing leaders and HR teams to understand staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and hiring.
• Build and maintain pipelines of qualified nursing talent through networking, referrals, sourcing, and community engagement.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders by providing market insights and recruiting expertise.
• Deliver an outstanding candidate experience through timely communication and relationship-building.
• Participate in recruitment events, career fairs, and campus outreach initiatives.
• Maintain accurate recruiting records and ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational policies.
• Support workforce planning and continuous improvement efforts within Talent Acquisition.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in human resources, business, or other related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of recruiting experience required.
• High volume recruitment experience strongly preferred.
• Current working experience that includes understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle process (lead generation, managing the internal/external process, extending an offer, and closing a candidate).
• Experience with an applicant tracking system.
