Talent Acquisition Specialist – Nurse Recruitment
Overview
Sentara Health is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Nurse Recruitment team. In this role, you will serve as a strategic talent advisor, partnering with hiring leaders and HR Business Partners to develop and execute recruitment strategies that attract top nursing talent.
Responsibilities
- Partnering with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to understand current and future hiring needs.
- Developing and executing recruitment strategies for high-volume, specialized, and hard-to-fill positions.
- Proactively sourcing candidates through networking, talent pipelines, referrals, social media, and other recruitment channels.
- Screening, interviewing, and evaluating candidates to identify the best fit for the organization.
- Serving as a trusted advisor to leaders on recruitment trends, labor market conditions, and talent acquisition best practices.
- Building and maintaining talent pipelines for current and future workforce needs.
- Participating in recruitment events, career fairs, nursing school partnerships, and other talent attraction activities.
- Leading or participating in recruitment projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Ensuring an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring leaders throughout the recruitment process.
Qualifications
- Two years of Human Resources experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or four years of equivalent experience with a High School Diploma or GED required.
- Nurse Recruitment experience strongly preferred.
- Experience recruiting in healthcare environments preferred.
- Experience managing multiple requisitions and competing priorities preferred.
