About the role

Provides leadership to facilitate the delivery of professional nursing care, ensuring patient comfort and well-being. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to deliver, delegate, supervise, and document care and education for patients and families. Implements medically prescribed interventions.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Enrollment in a BSN/advanced degree program with a plan to obtain BSN within five years
• Experience exemptions available for those with ten or more years of nursing experience

License

• Current RN licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
• eNLC license may apply
• Must be obtained within 30 days of employment

Certification

• BLS Healthcare Provider

Experience

• Minimum of one year hospital nursing experience
