Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with patients, store personnel, and the health care community to enhance practice building and continuity of care.
  • Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
  • Deliver the highest quality health care within The Little Clinic's scope of services while achieving optimum patient satisfaction.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and ensure a safety and quality-based healthcare environment.
  • Collaborate with the regional management in participating in community events to promote TLC and increase clinic utilization.
  • Manage clinic inventory and order supplies to maintain cost-effective clinical operations.
  • Utilize company information systems as directed and in compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
  • Support the mentor program by being a resource and a role model.
  • Attend ongoing education seminars related to retail and family practice.
  • Control costs at clinics to meet budgeted profitability goals.
  • Participate in operational duties and responsibilities as assigned by the regional management.
  • Travel to designated clinics within a specified geographic area if a float position.

Requirements

  • Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor's Degree as a Physician Assistant (PAs in OH must have completed 500 hours of post-graduate physician-supervised experience).
  • One year of experience in healthcare.
  • Active license, American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) certification, and all necessary state credentials.
  • Board certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C); or physician assistant (PA-C), where eligible.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Excellent telephone, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Desired: Experience with applicable clinical procedures, electronic health record charting systems, retail health, emergency health, critical care, leadership, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Desired: Previous experience in a retail health, emergency health, or critical care setting.
  • Desired: Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and influencing skills.
  • Desired: Provide the highest quality of medical care to patients, maintain company metrics for productivity, participate in peer review, quality assurance, and staff meetings.
  • Desired: Ensure a safety and quality-based healthcare environment is maintained.
  • Desired: Collaborate with regional management in participating in community events to promote TLC and increase clinic utilization.
