Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's benefits process. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.

Responsibilities

• Conducting focused physical exams and reviewing electronic medical records.
• Accurately documenting exam findings and completing VA documentation.
• Providing medical opinions based on assessments.

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web portals.

Skills

• Strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent time management.
• Empathetic communication skills.

Schedule

Part-time, in-person role, Tuesday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Caseload of 3–5 Veterans per day. Equipment provided for documentation.
