Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform medical assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

Responsibilities

• Conducting in-person disability assessments for Veterans.
• Reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Documenting exam findings accurately and completing VA forms.
• Providing medical opinions based on assessment findings (without treatment or prescribing medication).

Requirements

• Active, unrestricted NP or PA license.
• Proficiency in electronic documentation and web-based portals.

Skills

• Strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent time management.
• Empathetic communication skills.

Schedule

Full-time, in-person assessments with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans daily. Structured schedule with no on-call duties.
