About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's benefits process. This role does not involve treatment or prescribing medications.
Responsibilities
- Conducting focused physical exams for Veterans
- Reviewing electronic medical records via a secure web portal
- Accurately documenting exam findings and completing VA forms
- Providing medical opinions based on assessment findings
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted NP or PA license
- Proficiency with electronic documentation and web portals
- Strong analytical, time management, and communication skills
- Compassionate and professional demeanor when interacting with Veterans

Schedule
- Full-time, in-person role with a caseload of 3-5 Veterans per day
