Job Description

The Nurse Practitioner at Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento assesses, diagnoses, plans, and implements medical care for patients under the supervision of a physician. They coordinate care with other healthcare providers and maintain collaborative relationships with patients and their families.

• Ensures patient privacy and compliance with HIPAA

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in California
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Master’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner
• Experience in acute medical/surgical care and specialty services
