About the role

The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional patient care by utilizing the nursing process, technology, and resources within the healthcare setting. This role involves direct care for CVMS patients, including post-op CABG, thoracotomy, and vascular surgery.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial patient assessments and develop/modify care plans.
• Implement nursing interventions and document care accurately.
• Ensure patient and staff safety through adherence to protocols.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and provide feedback.
• Support professional development and continuous learning.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Conduct hourly patient rounds.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Nursing diploma or degree.
