Nurse - Minimally Invasive PCU Days

About the role

Join a dynamic 28-bed Minimally Invasive Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as a Clinical Nurse (RN). This full-time role offers day and night shifts and welcomes both experienced RNs and new graduates. You will care for post-operative and intermediate care patients, including those recovering from bariatric surgery, hernia repairs, and other minimally invasive procedures, in a designated Bariatric Center of Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct patient care, assessments, and evaluations based on nursing standards
• Developing, implementing, and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families
• Educating patients and families on illness management, medication administration, and post-treatment care
• Participating in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and ongoing professional development
• Ensuring communication and continuity of care across settings

Qualifications and Skills

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred
• Active RN license
• Experience is not mandatory for new graduates; 2+ years preferred for advanced roles
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
