Nurse - Minimally Invasive PCU Days

About the role

Seeking a Clinical Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced, 28-bed Minimally Invasive Progressive Care Unit (PCU) that specializes in post-operative and intermediate care patients, including bariatric, hernia repairs, mastectomies, and other minimally invasive procedures. Both experienced RNs and new graduates are welcome, with sign-on bonuses available.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, diagnosis, planning, and evaluation within nursing standards.
• Educate patients and families on managing illnesses, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and communicate individualized care plans.
• Conduct frequent assessments, monitor post-operative and tracheostomy patients, and manage occasional overflow cases.

Qualifications

• Active RN license; Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree required, Bachelor's preferred.
• No prior experience required; 2+ years preferred for certain roles.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work safely and maintain alertness in a dynamic environment.
