Not all benefits apply to all jobs The above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees in this position. It is not designed to contain or be interpreted as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and qualifications required of employees assigned to this job. Equal Opportunity Employer We need to remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. So remove "Equal Opportunity Employer" and maybe "Benefits and Legal Statement" but we need to keep benefits content. The phrase "Benefits and Legal Statement" is a heading but we can treat as part of Benefits section. We need to decide sections. We have content for About the role (description of unit, what you'll experience, why nurses love, overview). Could be under About the role. Responsibilities: we have a list of responsibilities. Requirements: Minimum Requirements and Preferred Requirements. Qualifications: maybe Preferred Qualifications? Actually there is "Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose". That seems like a purpose statement. Could be under Qualifications or About the role. But we have separate sections for Qualifications and Skills. The posting includes "Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose". That is more like a purpose statement; maybe we can put under About the role or Qualifications. Since we have a Requirements section for minimum and preferred requirements, we can put qualifications there. Skills: Not explicitly listed; maybe we can omit Skills section if no specific skills listed. Benefits: we have benefits list. Pay: we have sign-on bonus up to $15,000. That's pay info. Also maybe not base salary. So we can include Pay section with sign-on bonus. Schedule: mentions Full-Time | Days & Nights Available. So schedule info. We must not create sections with filler like "not specified". So include only if we have real content. Thus sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to use

for each heading. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. Use

for prose. We must preserve all substantive information; do not invent or summarize away detail. We need to format lists appropriately. Let's extract About the role prose: combine paragraphs. About the role content: - Join our fast-paced 28-bed Minimally Invasive Progressive Care Unit (PCU), caring for post-operative and intermediate care patients. As a designated Bariatric Center of Excellence, we provide specialized care for patients recovering from bariatric surgery, hernia repairs, mastectomies, and other minimally invasive procedures. - What You'll Experience: Progressive Care/Intermediate Care (PCU/IMU) level patients; Frequent assessments and close monitoring; Post-operative patients with stays ranging from 1-5 days; Tracheostomy patients from across the North Campus; Occasional medical overflow patients. - Why Nurses Love This Unit: Strong leadership support with dedicated PCT coverage & RN Mentor; Collaborative team environment with opportunities to grow your skills in surgical and progressive care nursing; If you're looking for a challenging, rewarding unit where you can build strong clinical expertise and make a meaningful impact, we'd love to meet you. - Overview Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center is the largest hospital in Missouri and is ranked as one of the nation's top hospitals by U.S. News & World Report. We are recognized as a Bariatric Center of Excellence. The various surgical services that comprise our patient population make 4900 a dynamic floor on which to build your nursing skillset. We can keep as paragraphs. Responsibilities list: each sentence after "Responsibilities". Let's extract bullet points: - Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment. - Educates patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post treatment home care needs and medication administration. - Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance. - Participates in professional development. - Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with other members of the interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver in accordance with the established guidelines and standards of nursing care. - Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care. - Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care. - Assess patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including their values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population-specific needs. - BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job. We could combine last two as separate bullet or keep as one. Requirements: Minimum Requirements and Preferred Requirements. Minimum Requirements: - Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's - Nursing Experience: No Experience - Supervisor Experience: No Experience - Licenses & Certifications: RN Preferred Requirements: - Education: Bachelor's Degree We could also include "Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose" maybe as part of Qualifications but we already have Requirements. We could also include "Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose" as a separate bullet under Requirements? Might be better to put under Qualifications section. But we have no separate Qualifications section; we could incorporate into Requirements as "Preferred Qualifications". However the instruction says use sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. So we should have a Qualifications section if there is content. The posting includes "Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose". That's a qualification statement. So we can put that under Qualifications. Thus: Requirements: Minimum Requirements (education, experience, licenses). Possibly also include "No Experience" etc. Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose: Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care. Also Preferred Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree could go under Qualifications as well. But we already have Preferred Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree; we could treat that as part of Qualifications. Better to split: Requirements = Minimum Requirements. Qualifications = Preferred Requirements + Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose. Let's do that. Benefits list: extract bullet points: - Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and legal services available first day of the month after hire date - Disability insurance* paid for by BJC - Annual 4% BJC Automatic Retirement Contribution - 401(k) plan with BJC match - Tuition Assistance available on first day - BJC Institute for Learning and Development - Health Care and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts - Paid Time Off benefit combines vacation, sick days, holidays and personal time - Adoption assistance We should preserve the asterisk note? Keep as is. Pay: Sign-on Bonus eligible up to $15,000. Schedule: Full-Time | Days & Nights Available. Now produce HTML. We must not include any extra text outside HTML fragment. Let's craft. We'll have:
