About the role
As the Clinical Nurse Manager, you will report to the Chief Nursing Officer and work alongside nurses to direct assigned nursing personnel, serving as a resource person and consultant to ensure the plan of care for the patient population. You will possess a specialized knowledge base and skills to facilitate patient treatment and staff development, provide and oversee patient care, and implement hospital and department philosophy and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Provides leadership during times of crisis to assure continuity of care and a productive work environment.
- Maintains approved standards of patient care, collaborating with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.
- Communicates clinical issues, as they relate to service or program development, to the CNO.
- Promotes clinical development, competency, and expertise in staff to maximize patient outcomes.
- Evaluates performance of professional and non-licensed nursing personnel.
- Cooperates in interviewing prospective staff.
- Assures that all staff are accountable for documenting care provided, patient/family teaching, and discharge planning on patients to which they are assigned.
- Contributes to the smooth functioning of the unit by providing direction to staff, other departments, and families as needed.
Requirements
- Valid State RN License required.
- Three to five years of experience including supervisory experience required.
- BSN or enrollment in BSN program required.
- Certified BLS before hire date required.
- Certified ACLS or completion in first 6 months of employment required.
Preferred Qualifications
- CRRN required after meeting eligibility requirements.
- Clinical experience preferred.

Pay
$115,000 - $130,000 per year (based on years of experience). $10,000 sign-on bonus.
