Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, personalized care to patients in the comfort of their homes.
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support while helping to ensure each patient’s comfort, safety, and well-being.
  • Play a vital part in preserving each patient’s dignity, independence, and quality of life.
  • Work closely with patients, their families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary care team to deliver person-centered care that supports each individual’s unique needs and goals.

Requirements

  • Current Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and other personal care needs.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships and work effectively with patients, families, caregivers, and the healthcare team.
  • Basic understanding of medical terminology, infection control, and safe caregiving practices.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in home health, hospice, or a similar caregiving environment.
  • Familiarity with KanTime Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
  • Experience providing care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or other memory-related conditions.

Pay

Salary Range: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
