About the role

We are now hiring a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to join our compassionate team!

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation and light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Ensure each patient’s comfort, safety, and well-being.
• Deliver person-centered care that supports each individual’s unique needs and goals.
• Work closely with patients, their families, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary care team.

Requirements

• Current Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology, infection control, and safe caregiving practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in home health, hospice, or a similar caregiving environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with KanTime Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system is a plus.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Experience providing care for patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, or other memory-related conditions is a plus.
